How to control anger is a burning question nowadays for all age groups. When people desire something but fail to fulfill it, anger arises. In anger, people lose their calmness. To control anger, one must learn to control the mind. As mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita (2.62)

  1. Keep your mind focused on the Supreme Lord.  We are all a part of God, so we should focus our minds on Him. For example, if you take a bucket of water from the ocean, the taste of that water will be the same as the ocean. Similarly, we are a part of God, who is known as Sat-Chit-Anand (eternal truth, consciousness, and bliss). Since we are His divine part, we naturally seek happiness, which can only be found in surrendering to Him.

जो भोजन सात्त्विक व्यक्तियों को प्रिय होता है, वह आयु को बढ़ाने वाला, जीवन को शुद्ध करने वाला, तथा बल, स्वास्थ्य, सुख और तृप्ति प्रदान करने वाला होता है। ऐसा भोजन रसयुक्त, पोषणकारी, स्वास्थ्यवर्धक और हृदय को प्रसन्न करने वाला होता है।
